ADVERTISEMENT FOR Institute Postdoctoral Fellowship
Applications are invited for two postdoctoral positions in the areas of total positivity, matrix analysis and spectral graph theory. The selected candidate will carry out research with Prof. Projesh Nath Choudhury in the above areas, and will be funded by the institute. Name of the position: Institute Postdoctoral Fellow.
Salary: Rs. 47,000 – 60,000 + HRA as per norms (per month).
Qualifications: The applicant should have
- A Ph.D. degree in a relevant subject, such as total positivity, matrix analysis and spectral
graph theory. - A strong background in matrix theory and graph theory.
Candidates who have submitted their thesis in the mentioned fields are equally eligible.
Apart from research, the applicant will be expected to contribute to other academic activities of the Institute including teaching.
Duration: The appointment is for one year (possibility of extension for another year on the basis of performance).
